Spring Activities

The blog has been suffering a bit lately, but my excuse is that we're moving in six weeks. And house showings are wearing me out! The good news is that we sold our land, and we're still on track to move to our country home the first week of June. We just need to get our current house sold, and take care of all the logistics, paperwork, etc. associated with three different properties. Whew!

Anyway, I wanted to post a quick photo recap of recent family activities including a trip to Legoland and Easter.

They had a BLAST at Legoland... don't mind the fuzzy phone pics!

Love this look as Miles hunted for Easter eggs!

Boys' Birthday Festivities

I'm a little late posting this, but we finally wrapped up our week-long birthday celebrations around here recently. The boys' birthdays are three days apart, so it gets a little hectic in early April!

Since I'm tired and want to head to bed soon, I might as well just do a big photo share from our gathering at my parents' house, the kids opening gifts on their birthdays, celebrating at school, and the cake decorating/Lego party we had at a friend's bakery. Lots of good times were had, along with too much sugar! Whew...

New Retailer: The Gingerbread House

This post has been updated with The Gingerbread House's new location and hours.

Well, I let the cat out of the bag on Facebook recently, and it was about time I blogged about it!

I am now selling my handmade items at the COOLEST toy store in the area! Yes, that's right - I'm talking about The Gingerbread House! Located in Bloomington, they carry a huge variety of unique, high quality fun and educational toys that you just can't find at big box toy stores. The new owners are wonderful, and I happen to know a couple gals who work there as well. They just keep improving their selection, and the customer service is top notch as well. Check out all the services they offer! I really just can't say enough good things about this store! It's my go-to stop for birthday and Christmas gifts, for sure.

And now, they're carrying Mom-Made items! We've started off with crayon rolls and deluxe coloring caddies in the arts and crafts room.

In addition, there are Mom-Made baby doll diaper bags, changing pads, diapers, and mei tai carriers in the doll adoption center, located in the building adjacent to the main Gingerbread House building.

I have a feeling this is going to be a great venture, and a step in the right direction for Mom-Made. I'm thankful to my customers and the wonderful staff at the Gingerbread House for supporting my little home business.

And seriously, stop by the Gingerbread House if you're in the area. It's quite a gem in our community!

Look at that adorable doll nursery!
